The Tiberius "tribute penny" (with PONTIF MAXIM) is the most common of only three types of silver denarii of Tiberius. The other two are very similar but have different dates on them. Here is one: IMP VII TR POT XVII (Year 17 = 15/16 AD) [The same type occurs with TR POT XVI] 19 mm. RIC 4 "R2".

Not sure if this coin belongs to any of you or was just posted as an example, but it's a fake anyway. Compare: http://forgerynetwork.com/asset.aspx?id=/Idz9JpYpP4= http://forgerynetwork.com/asset.aspx?id=~x~g/MsKx7ly8= http://forgerynetwork.com/asset.aspx?id=uVDHqMLjxpc=
I don't collect coins of Tiberius, so have none to post, but I can certainly enjoy vicariously those posted here, especially your magnificent example AJ! Awesome write-up too.
