1985-D half

    I came across a Kennedy half that felt odd to the touch. The details were more pronounced then a regular circulated half dollar. Obverse is normal. Any thoughts on this? Possibly thin or wrong planchette?
    Weight of the coin is only 11.14 g also.

    I believe you might have just found an extra nicely struck example, but nothing worth more than 50c

    I was thinking that too as a possibility. It was one of those that really stood out from the rest. Thank you.

    I am not a Kennedy collector, but to me that reverse appears to be very well struck.

    The coin has some nice luster left. Nice hole filler depending on the grade you like.
