    The device you're looking at is designed as a light table rather than to cast light on to a distant subject. It's a nice item to have if you are reviewing film slides or negatives, but I don't think it would do very well for coin photography.

    If you are looking for 1-2 small LED panels to use with coins, you may want to look at some of the on-camera LED video lights.

    CF, the coin after mine needs to be either a Buffalo nickel (NOT a nickel of any Type) or a coin dated 1913. Thanks!
