I'm just not seeing it

    Thank you!:happy: It has been quite a journey with polar opposite grades. I shall bring up the original post when it eventually DCAMs.

    You mean NGC gave it like a PF63 CAM and PCGS gave it a PR65 CAM? Or something like that? The old holder and the gold CAC are gone I suppose. :(

    NOS beat me to the punch - 'IMproperly cleaned', implies there is a 'proper cleaning' (I'M GUESSING CLEANING MORESO THAN JUST REMOVING OIL).

    But what's intriguing, is that the grader would further clean an improperly cleaned coin?????

    Do you get a DETAILED write-up w/ returned coin?

    Only sent to PCGS so far. The grades themselves are all over the place.

    I'm not really seeing any evidence of cleaning in that pic, but the color on the obverse looks quite a bit lighter than on the reverse. Maybe that's why they tagged it?

    See all the gunk in the letters? Cleaned for sure.
