    Thanks for the help frank.The line's in the L and I are plate doubling?DO you know of a site that has examples of this?

    Thanks for the link jim.I think that's a page in the strike it rick book.I'am a big fan of MR potter.I wanted to post this and ask you guy's about it because there are lines in the letters, and it does not look the same as plate doubling on the D mint mark on a 1993 cent and it's from the philly mint. not that has anything to do with it .

    Frank's got it. Just plating disturbances around the letters. Very common in the late 1980s and early 1990s zinc-plated Lincoln Cents.
