    Sorry TIF :(
Okay, so a Siliqua is the given name for a silver coin issued from Constantine to Maurice Tiberius ( abet in fractions)
They initially weighed 72 to a Roman pound. Constantius II was forced to debase them to 144 to a Roman pound in early 350's. This was due to his war with Magnentius and the deteriorating economy. Also in the 370s,the purity was raised from 90-95% to 98-99%. That is why the later issues have a PS on them.
So in short: above or around 3 grams= pre reform. Around or under 2.25 grams = post reform

Please explain what is special about this one. Certainly yours is nicer than mine but what is it that makes it wanted?

Well it's the nicest pre reform Siliqua that I have seen of Constantius II. Also it is rated "Rare" and is from Thessalonica. Let me clarify that I am not going to buy this coin anytime soon. I am studying abroad soon and don't have the money for it. If by some chance in 2+ years the seller still has it and I have the money; then I will pick it up. Until then all I can do is dream.
