Wow Oki => a couple more sweet examples (great collection) Hey, I also have an example with "sprinkler, simpulum, jug, and lituus" (the sacrificial implements of the priest)" ... ummm, but it's not a Hadrian (but I'm gonna toss it in anyway, my friend) ... Herennius Etruscus AR Antoninianus

My only Hadrian, a fairly low-grade issue of Aelia Capitolina. For those unfamiliar, these were minted in Aelia Capitolina(Jerusalem) after the Bar Kochba revolt had been but down and the Jews and Christians expelled. This particular one features Hadrian and Antoninus Pius. Found in an uncleaned lot a while back. Full ID: JUDAEA, Aelia Capitolina (Jerusalem). Hadrian, with Antoninus Pius as Caesar. AD 117-138. Æ (20mm, 9.9g). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Hadrian right / Head of Antoninus right. Meshorer, Aelia 9; Rosenberger 9.
My one and only Hadrian example. The patina just melts in your mouth. Please excuse the scan, my cell takes really bad photo's.
It's not Hadrian, but I can't make out the legend for sure. My guess would be Probus Egyptian Tetradrachm.
It's not Hadrian but it is a nice tetradrachm of Probus, a provincial struck in Alexandria, Egypt. Your scans are a little difficult to see but I think it is Emmett 3985, year 4, rarity 1. Obverse: AKMAVPΠPOBOCCEB, laureate bust right Reverse: Eagle standing left, head right, wings open, wreath in beak; L - Δ
OOPS, sorry these coins have been stashed away 30+ years and I have lost my familiarity of them. I think its this one in not so good a shape. I scanned coins all night last night so I can identify them correctly. Thanks, any advice as how to organize?
This one is Hadrian. I use Microsoft Excel for my catalog, and my coins are divided between 6 folders, each representing a particular period of time. Glad to have you and looking forward to seeing your coins.
welcome WDF!! cheers is WDF kinda like ghetto for WTF? ... just jokes ... => I love both of your coin offerings!! (please keep bringin' em!!)
=> TIF, this is "your" thread => are you gonna let Oki push you around like that?! ... man, the dude is relentless with dem fricken Hadrians!! Absolutely amazing, Oki (keep-up the awesome job, my friend)
