Hey guys this is my first post on coin talk and that being said I apologize for all the rookie questions that will follow this haha.
First, I have 6 new $100 star notes all in sequential serial number order in mint condition. I don't have a really good idea of what these are worth other than singles sell for $118-$124 on eBay so what would worth be of 6 in sequential order? Secondly, I want these to go to a collector and have no idea how to or where to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some pics as well.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

I don't know that those would carry any premium as there are many stars due to printing problems with this series.

Yeah I researched and saw they wouldn't bring any crazy number but $120 range would still be reasonable right?

Keep in mind that $120 on eBay means virtually no premium left over after fees.

Yea, unfortunately that's true. That's why I'm here to see what would be the best way to sell these?

Once you have enough posts here at CT, you can try posting them in the B/S/T forum.

Do you think they would sell? What would a good fair price be?

You could always just list them and see what you're offered...

That's probably what I'm going to do. How do you pay typically on here? PayPal?

That depends on the person, but I think it's safe to say most people have PayPal.

I sold a few of these on Ebay, a set of 5 seq. stars and 10 seq. stars. I had a couple of issues with people not paying - possibly shills to drive up the price.

Then I had someone try to say they never received them and get a charge back on PayPal - even though I had their signature. Possibly a scam. It didn't go through, but at over $1000 - you worry - a lot.

Remember that there's 15% in Ebay fees and shipping costs for high value items with insurance. There isn't much to be had.

Of the 3 sets I sold, only 1 was a clean sale. The others had issues making it far more of a hassle than it was worth to collect an extra $10 after fees.

I didn't sell any more. I took the rest of them to a coin show and got a bit of a premium - in cash then and there.

Not on here. I don't know anyone, and nobody really knows me. Caveat Emptor.

I would gladly give you $90 a piece in person though. :)
