You know there are error coins and some paper money have printing errors, but have you ever visited an honest to goodness Coin and Paper Money Error Museum?

Guess what? There is one you can visit right from the chair you're sitting on. It is maintained by error guru Mike Byers. Almost every error collector knows that name. Here's the URL link to Mike Byers Error Museum!

    Did you enjoy the tour?

Wow, that is quite a collection of errors. Makes you wonder the value of them all, but most important of all the uniquity of the coins. Thanks for sharing that, I'll keep that one bookmarked.

I enjoyed the tour, Clinker (very impressive!), but I think it'd have been of more utility to us if he'd have categorized the errors.

    To eddiespin

Most "error" collectors know the categories: double die, repunched, cud, brockage, laminated, die break and so forth, but if someone knows a site that does categorize them (? Ken Potter ?),tell us.

Great site. However, as already noted you would think these coins would all be in some type of order. It appears as if someone just put out all the coins just to take the photo and didn't care what order they were in at all. Would be great if that was done.

Just that when I go into the grocery store looking to buy apples I'm rather accustomed to finding them in the fruits and vegetables section rather than scattered all over the place. Like I said, though, very snappy little collection, here...you bet! :)
