Worst in the business. Turn-time worst in the business, so I expect only those who could care less about resale are getting coins graded here. I will never stop slamming them after my experience and I plan to send their slabbed coins to NGC. Who cares what people think as long as I tell the truth. ANACS is going down the tubes.

Perhaps you'll humor us and tell us a bit of what happened?

Where are all these tubes people are always talking about? I never see any tubes with things going down them.

FJK, some advice which you will take. Do not mention names as you did in the deleted thread. Do not expect people to agree with you just based on words/opinions. Show evidence such as photos, or drop it. Some think you are just trolling, do not convince you are. If you have not yet read the rules of the forum, take a minute to do so.

as they are different from other forums.
    Thanks.

ALSO other members who like to jump in and fan fires with their "humor", THERE are tubes ( actions) you might miss interaction here. Let it die. Thanks Jim

I might say, on their defense, that they run monthly specials in which I'm sure they get inundated with submissions. Especially this last one for Buffalo nickels at $8.00 each. I never send anything less than 20 coins at a time and I am small time compared to others. They always come back to me well packaged every time. But then, I am a very patient person and that helps.

He can bash all he wants and I may or may not agree with his data. But just saying they are bad does not work for me and, I hope, most of the rest here.

I have used ANACS in the past. I have never received anyting but decent turnaround times and fair conservative grading! J.P. Martin and Michael Fahey have always been forthcoming and honest with me!

I've used their services many times and never any problem. As a matter of fact they've call me to make sure they understood my submission.
Plus they are the only ones that will slab some of the stuff I wanted slabed. LSCC 40Th Anniv. Daniel Carr Tokens 035a-horz.jpg

Used them many times, never had a problem with ANACS. Always found the customer service department to be polite and helpful.

I have had problems with the company that you are going to use though. I called once and that was enough. They never got my business and never will.

The only thing I dislike is the slab itself. Not a fan of yellow or shape. That said... I'll buy any old ANACS slab I find. If the coin in it is one that pleases me. In fact when walking a show I will scout out dealer's inventories first looking for these as well as old rattler slabs. One reason is there is a lot of gold in these early slabs as far as variety finds.
I also find the grading for the most part is spot on!

They are very conservative, or so I have found.

Also, very nice folks who will spend as much time with you as you may need at any show.

no rushing you off to see the next person.

In fact, they have noted a coin or two as cleaned and I asked them to explain, and they were very patient with me.

I also had one V-nickel [1912 S] that came back as G-06, I asked them how many letters they needed for a VG (just a bit sarcastic) -- they took it back and re-slabbed it at no charge. I asked why? they said-- "why should you pay for our mistake?"

    Great customer service.

I haven't submitted to ANACS for a while, but I was never disappointed.
