Has anyone seen or heard of an alignment error on the copper slayed dollar? I noticed looking through a roll at my LCS that some had coin alignment and some had medal alignment. S this common or something new?

First what is a slayed dollar? Second if it is a US coin, then no there should not be any with medal alignment.

that's right, it is the bullion series put out Provident Metals if memory serves. They have Zombie line of bullion that parodies classic US coins. The "Slayed Dollar" is their apocalyptic take on the Trade Dollar.

In that case, it isn't a dollar coin. It's just a fantasy piece, and a fantasy piece can be made with any type of error or variety that the minter chooses in order to sell the product.

The reason I ask is that other rounds in this series have featured errors and sell for a substantial premium. I am asking if anyone here has seen this variety or error.

Since it is a privately made piece there is no way it is "supposed" to be, so I wouldn't consider either version to be an error.
