What The ****!!!

    Ebay auction # 190097709743 1924-s Peace Dollar with rainbow toning? Ive never seen a silver dollar toned like this, Ive never seen one like this...period!!!! Looks like ALOT of special effects lighting on a very worn AT coin. Its offered by Ebay seller lloydnine and only has a little over 3 hrs. to go. Heres the pics.......

    Whoa. Definetly Artificial. Here is my theory. It was probably very harshly cleaned with something. Well the person probably tries to hide this so he tries to tone it. Well, somehow (if possible) maybe the chemicals from the cleaning did something to help aid this? Never seen something like that before. Alot of it to probably has to do with the picture. But all this is only my opinion.

    nothing like brand new clad coins that are purple ! I can't see any clad coin coming to look like that naturally, it's even fishy on silver.

    I think it's real, and worth right around $10, but not the shipping on top of it.

    It's basically just ugly junk.

    That coin has been cleaned harshly and articially toned.

    Nasty coin for sure. Polished beyond repair and I think lighting plays a big part on the rainbow effect.

    I am no expert but, doesn't the u in trust llok more like a v? Also where is the 1? All other numbers are perfect. Is it possible fo it to be wore down that much in one area?
