Tommy, it doesn't look like doubling. It may be a small break which probably isn't attributed.

    Was the food any good?

Tommy remember in those days they did not have plastic surgeon's ..... that said it's a leech! Jefferson doctor was using a new type of treatment ,to reduce his nose size. So you have the new leech variety . :)

Can anyone do an overlay? The reason I ask is that the extra leaf corn variety . I'm thinking it's more a case of clash then a ddr. As I had 4 of these quarters 1 has the nose bump no markers . I'll post a picture tomorrow of mine.

I don't think it's any of the ones listed. You might want to email John Wexler the images. You might get a new listing.

I can't find any of the markers either. I was thinking maybe WDDR-1 or 4, it's prominent enough but just no markers. If you wanted to take a look at it I can send and with return postage. Trust you bud. P.M. me.

It's about the same size as 1, but slightly farther south, toward the dip in the nose.

I'm trying to understand how those examples listed could be doubled dies. The mark runs parallel to the bridge of the nose and curves down to the nose on both ends. If they are doubled, where did the curve come from? Someone needs to go to rehab.

20150506_210144-1.jpg I got one this afternoon in change. I look at all my change with a loupe and most of the time, I have no clue what to look for, especially in the States Quarters, there are so dang many to keep up with. If it hadn't been for you posting this thread I would have probably missed it.
