Here is another doubled die Lincoln example within my collection.
    Owner Comments:

This is the result of a class I rotated hub doubling. Doubling can be seen on the date, LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, the secondary image broadly northeast of the primary motifs. The die pair is confirmed by a tiny gouge above the D in UNITED. NGC has graded approximately 2180 examples with only 12 graded at MS67RD and none graded higher. This coin has been CAC certified with a population of 3 with none higher. A nice clean example with a very sharp and detailed strike.

Very nice example! Another issue that is generally quite crappy.

    2 questions:

    1) Why the closeup in the second picture?

    2) How did it get a 67 with the 'marks' in front of Abe's nose?

Question 1: The closeup of the reverse is too show the die chip above the D on the rim and the two die scratches between the I and T in "UNTIED", which confirms that it matches the obverse die pair. Question 2: That bit of toning in front of Abe's nose does not distract from the overall detail of the strike

That toning in front of Abe's nose looks like a stickman playing basketball
