Talk about a surprise. Was going thru some of my common Morgans (VAM Checking) and look what I found a Very Nice (VN) 1878 8TF, never knew I had it...

The grade VN equates to the more commonly accepted VF-20/25, LOL...

Very nice, I tried to buy one on ebay a while back and kept getting outbid by 50 cents or so, quite frustrating. I think I bid on 5 or 6 coins.

 

Nice Morgan Ben. Ive also been trying to get one of these on Ebay and was outbid at the last second on the last one I was bidding on. I hate when that happens.

 

In case you were wondering here is a picture of the coin on the scale. My scale only goes to 1/10 of a gram though.

Just curious...how can you not have known that you had it? You must have a lot of morgans, LOL.

 

I found mine a couple of years ago when I was going through my morgans too, cool ben.
