I believe you know the 1883 Hawaiian Dollar was struck in Philadelphia and:

    1. is 90% silver and 10% copper

    2. has a diameter of 38.1 millimeters

    3. weighs 26.73 grams

    4. has a proof mintage of 26 coins

    5. had a business strike mintage of 500,000 coins of which 453,622 were melted leaving 46,348

    6. has a reeded edge

    7. is Akahi in Hawaiian but was called Dala because of American influences in the islands,

    But, who designed the coin?

Sure it's not 90%? If not that what's the other 10%?

    Did Barber design it?

I have a done and quarter - want to get the half and dollar some day, and the 1847 cent. Then my Hawaii collection is complete.
