    Can you help me with country and denomination for these three?
    1762 4 pfenning from a German state I assume.
    1821 1 heller from another German state.
    1761 Hungary just need the denomination. 1761 hungary.jpg 1762 4 pfenning.jpg 1821 1 heller.jpg

    Thanks. That was my guess. I don't have a Krause for the 1700s to look it up.

    Normally "heller" is Austrian, but in this case, it is the Free City of Frankfurt (under Germany), Krause KM #301, if 1.65 grams and 18.1mm in diameter. Big "F" at bottom is a mint mark for Frankfurt.

    Fine = $4.00 in 6th Edition.

    IIII pfennig 1762. I would say: bishopric Munster.

    The link that was provided with the ID above, although through NGC, uses Krause data: http://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/world/

    You can also use for free, or register a free account and get a little more information, via Numismaster. Their, Find My Coin / Find My Currency tools, which also uses Krause data.

    And, Numista can also be used to fill in the data not available with either of these links. I find Numista easiest to search by Google keyword search adding the name, Numista in my search criteria, rather than trying to navigate correctly their site's search.

    With such information, there's almost no need to be burdened by those hefty KM books. And if you were to become a subscriber of some online services, other features of sites using the KM data, like NGC become available. Something the books don't offer.
