Hi All, i thought I'd share my 2002 Mississippi Quarter Clad Proof Die Clash Error. Purchased off Ebay for under 10 bucks. "Dumb Luck". Ive seen a similar 2002 Mississippi Proof Quarter Die Clash Error in Silver.
Nice, proof errors are rare, and if you play your cards right, you could sell it for a few hundred. But my guess is that you're going to keep it. Either way, I would get it slabbed and attributed by PCGS or NGC. I got a proof error myself, struck in an improperly set collar.
Is this just an assumption, or...? I could do no more than guess at what such a coin is worth, so it's an honest question. Very cool, OP; congrats.
If you do decide to get them slabbed, let's say NGC, make sure you send them the correct info, let them know about that clash or they will just attribute the coins all as non errors.
Great Advice!! I hope others read this post... "when submitted errors.. post the error type when submitting" while its common sense, itll ensure the proper label. "
