German? Dutch? Some sort of token??

This is a rechenpfennig. I guess - first quarter of the XVIII century.

 

Quite an elaborate design for a pfennig coin!

 

Would that be some sort of jetton?

 

It's an early 1600's Nuremberg jeton made by Wolf Lauffer II

I like the description in the link Christian provided: "dog at their feet either eating or vomiting".

Why would you want a picture of a dog vomiting on a coin??? LOL.
