I have lots of non-rolled coins that I pulled from circulation fir various reasons up to 12 years ago. I’m slowly getting to them. I’ve already rolled and taken over $500 to the bank. I still have at least $400 left to do. Not sure if they go to the bank or not as most of these are like the day they were minted. Some are toning nicely. Well in my mixed lot of Quarters I was surprised to find this one. It’s a 2015-P Saratoga Quarter with a curved clip. A very nice incomplete planchet error which now resides in my error collection. Just by the L in LIBERTY and the Q in QUARTER you can see the Blakeslee effect.
You dont see many errors now a days....one would think simple errors with dates as such would pay a premium. The mint pretty good at catching them.
Just started going thru about 20 rolls of pocket change wheats. Found a few that I didn't know I had.
I haven’t done my nickels or cents. Dimes are done and Quarters are close. I have about a thousand nickels, if not a little more. Cents on the other hand will be a chore and a half. Lol Have fun my friend.
Found some cool NE clashes already. An unusual die crack on a 51. Some RPM's. I enjoy going back thru my collection to see if there has been something I have learned since I looked at the coin last.
As I understand it, Chris being retired and on a fixed income couldn’t afford the cost of the Internet.
