What Language is This?

    The strange shape and lettering of this ancient coin made me curious and eager to find out what it's all about. It weighs 3.9 g. Could anyone recognize anything please? Strange R.jpg Strange O.jpg .

    Nabataean! The letters on the reverse (first pic) are gimel, mem, lamedh, taw, read right-to-left, making it a coin of Rabbel II, whose queen was GAMILAT. :)

    My set of Rabbel II bronze is actually pretty nice. If you're patient, you can come across some attractive coins that have clear details.
