    I'd prefer the Snow sticker.

Rick will buy Photo Sealed coins and acts as a market maker in much the way that CAC does. I like CAC, and think it is a great company, but I think most of the knowledgeable members of the numismatic community would say in a worst case scenario for Mr. Snow that CAC and Photoseal are equal. In my opinion, Snow's sticker means more to me.

Sure: all you have to do is have an encyclopedic knowledge of a particular series, publish THE reference guide to that series and have the financial resources to make a market in the series.

Cool... bookmark this thread and when you become a roaring success in 15 or 20 years, come back and gloat. We'll still be arguing about which TPG is best.

I was talking generically of all TPG, CAC, etc. More and more people are simply lining up to charge this hobby money while only providing their "valuable" opinions. I wasn't referring to Rick Snow in particular.

As to your next post about arguing which TPG is best, I have always had my answer. None of them. Educate yourself and stop relying on the crutch. Very soon TPG will not be able to save you, as their slabs will get counterfeited at a high enough quality to fool most people.

Maybe you shouldn't be reading CT before your morning coffee... It was a joke...

I think the CAC stickers are more eye-appealing on the slabs. Now if Rick would add color to his stickers, I think that'd be great. It'd have to be natural sticker color, as I don't collect artificial sticker color.

In the IHC collecting community Rick Snow is widely acknowledged as an expert's expert. His latest book is the definative work on that series of coins. There is a reason the IHC varieties are identified as Snow varity numbers.

If you say you collect Indian Head cents and haven't heard of Rick Snow then you have some more research to do.
