1867 RPD? or am I still clueless on RPDs?All help appreciated

    The RPDs for this year are in close proximity to the date area. At the size of the pic, I can't tell either way.

    Yep--and I look for a lot of varieties on ebay with fuzzy pictures. Nothing stands out for me--but that doesn't mean it's not there. :)

    Wow. How did that happen?Let me repeat:Is it worth the risk at 140 dollars, is it cleaned and what is its grade?

    Looking at other images of the 1867/67 repunched date it does not look correct.
    Only the "67" should be repunched.

    Yeah...the two RPDs for 1867 with repunching on the top is on the "67". I do see what you're pointing to, but the "doubling" we're seeing is on the same order as the noise of the picture. I just say from my own experience--it's real easy to be thrown by stuff like this in the picture. We would need to see much closer/sharper pics (like that one above) to consider an RPD.
