Greetings.. Before cleaning these 2 coins, I wanted somebody to try guessing the name of the Emperor on each obverse. Please try if you can.. Roman Obv.jpg Roman Rev.jpg RTC O.jpg RTC R.jpg

Well, Kevin was my first guess too LOl...but I would immediately guess, at first sight, Valentianus...presumably Val ll.

I'm still looking through some uncleaned types, once a year or so, to score a 'Eugenius' LOL...... Reminds me when i was a kid searching for that 1909-S VDB penny in spare change...

Correct C71. It's Arcadius, struck in Constantinople. Listed as RIC X 60,A. Also size is AE3. Wildwinds states all this but it shows the image and text of a similar one which size is AE4, thus contradicting their main statement. They also add that it's been overstruck on an issue of Theodosius I. Don't you see brother that it's of my duty as an adherent to the Numismatic hobby to contact Mrs Dane and report to her this error?
As for the second coin, you seem all agreeing that it's Byzantine. Right , and I can clearly read XA to the top left of the obverse. Thank you all, guys.

Could you please tell me what does the Big letter Epsilon suggest on the reverse of Byzantine coins ?
