    I just can't decide. What do you think?

    I can't tell with the blurry pictures. I'm not seeing anything that jumps out at me though. Try taking the pictures with the coin not in the flip. It could just be the master hub doubling that is quite common on 72's.

    Photos are too blurry to tell. I'm not seeing anything though but better photos would help me know for sure.

    Not really. And again, I don't see a DDO.

    You can't see the split down the L and the I in Liberty, and the 7 in the date? Or the G inside the G in IGWT?

    Don't get upset. I can see some widening of the letters but the pictures aren't clear enough to tell what caused it. Could be hub, machine, or shadows. You have it in hand so you have a reference. I've posted a bunch of photos here that in reality are terrible, so to expect more than terrible replies would be fooling myself. Hang on to it until you can take better.

    And as a reminder, if my memory serves me right, there are 1972 master hub doubling pieces out there. Now, I can't see the detail because of the picture quality but remember that in 72 one of the hubs had doubling and it gave the appearance to a lot ot 72's of being doubled. And it also could be one of the 13 odd ones out there:}

    PS. Enlarging a blurry photo doesn't improve the quality.

    The blurry pics may be hiding something, but I don't even see the master die doubling. Even with the blurry pics, the B & T in LIBERTY would be noticeable on the master die obverse.

    You didnt mention the doubled nose or what appears to be a major die crack across the skull.
