I was looking on ebay, and i came across a auction that I was thinking about buying. Its 1 pound of wheaties for $11.95 and $5.95 shipping. Is this a reasonable deal or not? I dont really care if it has been searched or not or even if I get a whole bunch i already have with only getting 10 new ones, because its getting harder and harder to find them in circulation anymore and thats how I get most of my coins! I just wanted to see what yall thought before I bought a pound or two?

If it were me, I would pass. If I remember correctly, one pound of wheat cents is a little over 3 rolls. Therefore you are paying way too much money for the wheat cents when you include shipping.

No, that isn't a good deal. You should be able to get a pount of wheats for about $10-12 including shipping.

Well I havent been able to find any deals like that! But now that I know that 3 rolls is roughly a pound, I will do some more looking and see what I can come up with! Thanks!

I just saw a post from Phoenix21 that read that he had purchased 8 rolls of wheats for 14 dollars. That price sounds about right. Eighteen dollars for 3 rolls is way to much.

I just found an auction for 2 pounds (300+ coins) for $15 including shipping...thats a little closer to the norm isnt it?

Yep. About $1.75 a roll. I'm hoping to get more, after all that I found.

Really ? That is a bit ezpensive. That's almost 10 cents a coin. I'd keep looking. Good luck on finding some, and let us know when you do. Good luck. :thumb:

That is the absolute lowest I can find. I have had people tell me that they found 2 pound lots for $8 (including shipping) on ebay, but I simply cannot find them!! What am I doing wrong here?

300 coins for $8 shipped is too cheap. I figure melt at about 2 cents, and coin value at least 4 cents.

Don't $50 bags still run around $200 plus any shipping ?

Meh, I've given up my search for wheaties. My recent discovery of my missing mercs has led me to look for them!
