PMD.....notice how the metal is raised along the edge (crater effect) of Lincoln's hair.

Someone could have hammered it with a metal spike laying on the coin.

It doesn't matter. The copper "skin" would still be visible on the surface.

Put it on ebay, some schmuck will buy it. "May be RARE, but I have no idea what it is!". LOL. (Spell check says Schmuck is a word?)

Really? Put it on eBay for some 'schmuck'? When those 'schmucks' come here for advise, we tell them to stay away from this type of thing or that they made a terrible mistake. Just because there are 'schmucks' out there doesn't mean we should advocate abusing them.

Thats not what they are saying. They want the schmucks who don't come here for advise to buy them, then after they learn the hard way...come here for great friends, advise, and help :)

Could be that someone is willing to pay a premium for this kind of damage. Regardless of the fact that it is POST MINT. Maybe this person is a schmuck, maybe they just dont know any better, but i wouldnt go so far as to call it abuse.

You might be onto something. People actually collect and pay premiums for counterstamped coins. It the same type of inflicted damage with a foreign object; counterstamps just happen to have a recognizable pattern.
