I didn't clean this coin yet and need to pick the sand off. But there seem to be a big clear horse on the reverse and a couple of Faces on the same obverse. The coin weighs 14.66 g. Hope it's genuine. Thanks for your comments. Horse R.jpg Horse O.jpg

It's nothing I recognize. Perhaps it's Celtic. I get the feeling it isn't an ancient coin, though.

Double left-facing faces ... man, you don't see that everyday, eh?

I'm going to return it back to my seller and exchange it for other coins. That's a deal between him and me. Thank you.. maybe someone else could also confirm the unreal state of this coin.

my first thought was it's some weird nabatean or a fake/fantasy piece.
if JA doesn't recognize it, it must not be nabatean....

All Nabataean jugate portraits face right, and they are wrong type of portraits anyway. I recall seeing some similar double and triple jugate busts on some Celtic coins, but I can't recall the examples.

It does have the mushy quality about it as a cast coin would - does it have a line that wraps around the coin edge? this would be a flash line from a two part mould

ooo I forgot another word of advise ones a seller sells you a fake coin then he got more fake coins..so just get your money back and buy from trustworthy people / dealers !!

Now this is solid advice. If I find a seller trying to sell fakes, it's hard for me to buy from that seller again. However, sometimes even the fakes can fool a seasoned collector/dealer. If a dealer is willing to admit a mistake and refund the purchase price and maybe go the extra mile to keep your business, I may still buy from them. However, but I will look at his/her stock with a jaundiced eye

I agree it is a cast fake. Maybe "fantasy" is a better word, since I don't think it is very close to an original ancient coin.
