Thank you Charmy. I don't know how anyone can keep up with all these shows but I'm glad you do and that you post about them. :)

Why would a doctor work on a cat's leg to spay her?

Isn't the...uh..ahem, "plumbing" on the other end of the cat?

I think the vet ripped you off. Should've heard the quacking from a mile away...

Okay, now for a coin question: What was that Lincoln cent that guy bought from you? The one with a CAC sticker? 1938?

IV has to go somewhere... just like on people, they pump fluids in through a limb during surgery.

The vet needed to shave her arm to do blood work and for the IV. Yes, that's a beautiful 1938 PCGS MS67 Red Lincoln cent.

Poor Penny... the fur WILL grow back, but until it does, it is a total violation of the cat rules. They had to shave a large portion of Jill's [our Calico] belly for her ultrasound and it took WEEKS to grow back to an appropriate length - which we heard about constantly.

BTW, no matter how attractively presented, it is a bite-offence to pat the bare spot...

I'm telling you next Baltimore visit you need to check out Tio Pepe ' s ! On Franklin street, yes I know Little Italy got great eats... I served most all the restaurants down there back in the late 60 ' s and early 70's.
I worked in an Italian Bakery in Baltimore during HS and college. I been in every kitchen down there.
You need to try Tio's Charmy ! If you do you'll never go back to little Italy . Besides it's on a street named after a coin Franklin st. It has to be good right? :)
