    Thanks for the greeting. So it's smooshed. Wouldn't evidence of the smooshing be visible?

    Yes, the smooshing is visible in the date, LIBERTY, and IN GOD WE TRUST.

    It is present elsewhere in Lincolns portrait, but it just isn't as easy to see. Hope this helps.

    Would not the reverse have proof of smooshing? PMD?, taking a pix now.

    I do not need to see the reverse, the reverse has lower relief than the obverse, so it will not change my mind. sorry.
