My first ever war nickel finally came!

    Or well, I just got it from the pobox today... it is crusty toned! It only cost me 3.60!

    Lol yea I didn't really get so much into collecting them. I was more into silver. And with only a few years containing silver... this coin is going to look awesome in truview!

    I like the war nickels too. I remember getting them sometimes when I started collecting as a kid in the late 60's. Finally bought a nice Unc. set a few weeks ago, just because.

    They are a fairly cheap set to assemble in MS. One of my favorites in my collection is the 1942P Type 2 proof.

    I love war nickels. You can get some really good deals off of eBay. Local shows and auctions.
