    The device on coins of Decius is a Draco standard not a sword but it asked to be posted here anyway. There are dies with much better detail on the dragon head!

    Laureate bust right, drapery on left shoulder, (and across back of neck)

    Libertas standing facing, head left, pileus in right hand, scepter in left.

    Great posts...and I wish I could include mine, but they go back before my return to Ancients (i.e December, 2014) and I have no photos of them..a denarius and a few decent large bronzes (As and Sestertii)...

    Love what all of you have collected!!!

    Rev. P M TR P COS III / LIBERAL AVG (III In Ex.)
    Emperor seated left on sella curulis on platform; behind, officer; before, Liberalitas with tessera; in front on steps, citizen.
