1836 Capped Bust Half Dollar (O-122)

    Here is one you don't see everyday, for those who look everyday that is, LOL... Check out the long left serif on the E in STATES. Looks like a solid XF-45 with a couple of whiskey bumps...

    Nice coin! You know - I am almost getting tired of saying that. :) Keep up the work - I love the pictures. Everytime I see one of your posts it makes me want to get one of these puppies - managed to resist so far.

    I would, but I really do not know enough about them. I just know I really like the way yours looks. I look at Ebay and dealers all the time for these coins. I seem to look at so many and buy so few. :) And then I think I really need to complete some of my current sets. I still need a 1909-S IHC and several large cents(to have a date collection). So I should probably stick to those for a while - plus I want to upgrade some of them.

    I know exactly what your talking about. I need an 09-s IHC and an 1877 for a complete set of Indians, an 09-s V.D.B. for my Lincolns and the 12-s for my V-Nickels. I seem to excel at almost, LOL...
