    Halfs are my favorite denomination as well. Many varieties and the commemorates to collect. I wish they circulated more, or at all really.

    The Franklin is one of the nicest I've seen! Love the toning and the overall eye appeal of the coin.

  6. Very nice set. Love the colors! And very nice strikes on the Proofs . I will agree with you that your CBH is probably the most eye appealing example I've seen. Thanks for sharing.

    hello! my name is rob, and i'm new to cointalk, my dad found an 1861 seated liberty inside of a sofa, that's actually in very good condition, i tried looking up prices, but i saw there is an O-type? what does that mean? what should i look for? like i said, i believe it's in fairly nice condition, maybe a graded about a 30 or higher, i'll try to send you pictures of it later today... hope to hear back from ya' thanx! - rob

    O is New Orleans mint that closed 1909. It's now a museum.

    oh okay, so would it have an O on it, for new orleans, i'm not seeing a mint mark
