obv & rev struck through grease state quarter?

    I think it is a dryer coin. Note the rim reeds are flattened. the faces are pretty marred. But what I find interesting is that the machine doubling on the reverse, is still there.

    Looks Acid Dipped to me,do not look to be a dry coin.

    here is a dryer coin I kept as a comparison. notice certain features are worn down and some are not? also my original coin has a raised rim on both sides. although the dryer coins rim is smooth, it is only half the height of this new coin and has no raised rim. there is nothing alike about these coins except for no reeded edge. thanks

    would that completely remove the reeded edge?
