1918 Two Feather Buffalo Nickel

Found this today in a roll I had set aside years ago. Can anyone give me a grade and approximate value on this? Has a couple of rim dings on obverse, never cleaned. Thanks folks.

Tommy I say around $15 to $30 in the present condition Good/ VG

 

I just browsed through some Heritage sales of similar buffalos....and assuming it compares to slabbed examples in the VG range ---and yours seems to---$30-$50 +

If it hits a high VG and almost Fine, then it seems to approach $75-$100...at least by actual market sales..

So the $30 mark seems a good bet.

 

no added value for the variety, unless you find someone who really wants it

 

Tommy something going on with the 8 , not the typical 8 on an 1918 buffalo. It's very thick....and shows signs of a repunch.

 

I'll take a closer look in a bit.
