Is this an error coin? strange....

Hello everyone. I am going through 6600 wheat penny's that I got out of a storage. I am new to coin collecting and need a little help identifying error coins. I am finding what appears to be quite a few. This one is most peculiar. Is it a true error coin?

Not an error. Someone played around with that in a machine shop.
