I saw these two Ebay listings, these FRN sold for $20 under face value, I wish I bought them. Any thoughts on why they sold for that much? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-100-FE...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1981-A-100-...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
I haven't a clue how that could happen....except some 'typo' or misprint of some kind...I'd take out another mortgage and buy those notes from now to doomsday LOL
Seller has some interesting items for sale. My guess is seller has an automatic setting for reducing by 50% on buy it now after a certain time and forgot to turn it off for these listings.
He sold a whole bunch of bills 3/1 and 3/2 and everyone was 50% off. Many were below face and that included 2 $100 bills for $137. I am guessing someone made a mistake. A major mistake.
Bad idea to sell this on ebay, most banks would redeem it for face http://www.ebay.com/itm/Circulated-...855?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d2b0d4977
All of these happened 3 weeks ago. So far I see no negative feedback from any of the 50%off items. However, here is one of his positive feedbacks from them; seller unable to ship item - refunded $$
