1944 D over S?.... Again

    I found this and became very comfused.Is it a 1944 D over S?If not what RPM is it?All help appreciated[​IMG] thanks.

    It looks like a RPM to me, I'm think D/D though. Probably grades MS-65

    That is why I asked for another image of the date and mint mark location. I can make an overlay and see if it is a match or not. There are a few other canidates, but the mint mark location is the sure way to tell if it is from the same die or not. Thus the image.

    The top of the example is lower than mine. is it possible that they are the same ones?

    I think you have RPM-005, which shows up strongest in EDS examples.

    Does it appear higher on the mint mark some times?

    Early die stage. Don't look at the late die stage that is pictured on coppercoins.com.

    That is why a image would help for the location of the mint marks. Date and mint mark area would be great.

    Would it be possible for the same rpm to have one example with a norther second mintmark and another with souther one?
