I see BU 1964 Kennedys for $7 at one shop. I regret not buying any, as that is a good deal. I would pay $7 a coin considering you are buying bulk

    I wouldn't pay over $6.50 each.

To update the situation, the seller sent me an inventory of the coins today but he claims that he didn't have time for look at dates.
The 140 half dollars consists of:

    76 Walkers
    55 Franklins
    8 Kennedys
    1 Barber.

I expected more Walkers for the money that he was asking. I decided to pass without making the trip to look at dates.

I told him that if he doesn't sell and the estate brings their asking price down to let me know. For that mixture, I would be willing to buy for about $0.75 to $1.00 above spot.

I think you did a good decision, I would only pay $1 about spot per coin in the lot.
