Sorry about that. I bought this coin a few months ago, but never got around to photographing it. I have a rare day-off, so I'm trying to catch up on some organizing.

I got this coin because I've never seen a stronger strike on the reverse of an AE3. AE2's seem to occur in higher grades, but I think this coin is somewhat of a condition rarity - and the engraver rendered the design in a powerful, life-like style...

I'm always on the lookout for a nice FH type, but rarely find any. Good thing I didn't see this one. Congrats.

Terrific example JA----True, rarely are the reverses so vivid, clear and well-struck....Yours almost literally jumps out at you....

OK, the type is nice and this a great specimen. But now, just as a distraction, another type of horseman :

I can't say I've ever seen that one before....but I assume the lettering is 'Aramaic' or a similar written language of the area...or is it Hindi?? LOL

Sorry, forgot the attribution. The script is Kufic, early Arab. The coin is Ghorid, issued under Muhammad bin Sam, around 1180AD.

Thanks TH, It's pretty cool to me..... and the resemblance with the old Roman 'Fallen Horseman' makes me think it's more than coincidental...
