That is a 1852 not 1862 no outlines to star. check out in red book. The 3-cent nickels most always have die cracks in them look for that. But good start !

 

The date is hard to read and thanks for the correction and information.

Out of my Dansco 7070. I love the clashed dies on the 3CN. Also on the reverse of the 3CN, the dies were filed by the ribbon to the point of "erasing" some of the design.

 

Nice Three cents silver and nickel. Nice Grades too!

It was fixed one time and there no reason for this.

 

This is just stupid, but this is the only image that I can find of my business strike set. Still need the 1871 two cent and the 1885 and 1889 three cent. I do have a couple of proofs images handy though.

 

I am confused by this thread. But I have a silver 3 center. So I'll post it. Highest graded for the date.
