Are you referring to the mark from the top of the "T" toward the base of the neck? If it is raised, it might be a die gouge. Chris
It would be nice to have better close-ups. However, if most of those lines are raised as you say, then maybe the die was heavily abraded by a Mint employee. Chris

I have those all over the top of the reverse of a '70-D. What still has me going is how far apart they're spaced.
