Here is a VF-30/35 1836 Capped Bust Half Dollar which attributes at O(Overton)-114. The 7th Star on the obverse has been recut and has a little spur on the top/outside point. The reverse shows the I (PLURIBUs) being under the right side of the T in (STATES.) The 5 in (50 C.) is taller and leans to the left. This and a few other little quirks point to the characteristics of the O-114.

    Take Care

Oh, it's mine. Just another one for the old collection :) Thanks for looking. I made a mistake about the I&T relationship. The I is actually under the RT side of the T. :D

Nice coin ben, are you collecting a set of bust halves as per Overton variety?

    Love the series!

Here's mine, I picked it up at a show last year for $35, low cost due to some scratches.

Still a lovely coin and an under-collected series. The original "Lettered Edge US Coinage" beats anything available today, IMHO that is. :)

    I agree, I love 19th century coinage.

Can I borrow a time machine from someone?
