    Hello,

So I'm in Spain and I'm curious if there is somewhere I can buy current year Spanish coins, like a mint set or the equivalent, somewhere in Spain? Also, can anyone suggest any numismatic sites or attractions worth visiting?

    Thanks!

You might try one of the flea markets in Seville. You never know what you'll find in one of those places.

You might also try one of money exchanges for a modern mint set. I bought Mum's Proof Jubilee set in a money exchange in Piccadilly. They had them displayed in the front window. :)

If you are in Barcelona try the coin market at the Plaza Reale on Sundays. Imagine being surrounded by baroque buildings with vendor tables of things you don't usually see in the US a pretty good prices.

The Plaza Mayor market in Madrid is recommended. ;) As far as I remember, it opens at nine and closes at one, maybe 13.30 h. Also, there are a few regular coin stores around the market. If you are in the city, you can also visit the museum of the Spanish Mint (FNMT-RCM). Take the metro to "O'Donnell", admission is free.
