Is This A Ladder

Received a $1 bill in change this morning with a serial # 62714350.
Would this be considered a ladder? 0 through 7

No. A ladder would only be 01234567, 34567890 or 98765432, etc.
The numerals would have to be sequential and non repeating, running up or down.

 

I've seen a few sold as "scrambled" ladders.
More of a marketing hook, than anything else.

 

Those are for newbies. When they finally learn the ropes, they slap themselves in the head and wonder how the could have been sucked in on that kind of thing.

 

I'm going to see if I can get a few dollars for it on eBay. Someone out there may enjoy it.

 

Anyone know what a radar is worth?
I have a worn $1 with the serial 13888831 or 31888813, can't remember off the top of my head. I just know it has four 8s in the middle.

 

We need to know a lot more than that to give you an answer. Post a picture. Or better, a scan.

 

Since it is not a ladder, what will you call it so you don't misrepresent it? A note with a serial number on it?
