My neighbor has a 1934-D $5 silver cert with an unusual shade of blue, more purple actually. It's a lightly circulated note with no evidence of tampering. I know there are different shades for whatever reason however this one actually looks as if some red was involved, is that even possible such as a run of US notes on the same press? I'm a coin guy and barely dabble with currency so I told him I'd check with the experts here. Thanks. I have pictures but they don't show the color as well as in hand.

I would like to see the photos anyways. Cool note, error or not.
