83 Washington quarter and 86 Dime

    The mother gave me quarter when I was a kid. The dime was just found in circulation.
    The dime seems to be a deep strike.

    The quarter looks about 20% O/C. I don't know if the dime is an O/C or a Misaligned Die until I see the reverse.

    The dime is a misaligned die since the reverse is normal.

    Thank you very much for the specific names of the errors. I would have never known the correct way to describe them.

    When I'm out coin looking I see more of these 1983 o/c quarters then I do non o/c BU ones.
    Cool coins none the less.

    That is probably because the coins destined for circulation usually go into bags and are spit out of the coining chamber like seeds out of a watermelon.
