If it were whizzed, I would expect to see the lines crossing the devices, but I don't see this.

    As a non-specialist, I wouldn't touch a raw Trade dollar with a 10-foot pole.

That said, it's definitely been harshly cleaned, and possibly whizzed. Whizzing is sometimes hard to see in photos, but all those hairlines just make me want to run far away from it.

I also find it funny that this so called "MS63" coin with a $2500 price tag sold for $465. If genuine, that's approximately what it would sell for in a details slab.

It's been Brillo padded for sure, but I don't believe whizzed. Seems like it sold a little high, but not high enough to make me think that anybody was fooled by his ploy.

Are you sure about that, or perhaps you simply forgot to add "not" between "clearly" and "whizzed"?

Is it a gem? Of course not, and is it a clearly problem coin? Absolutely, but if one takes it upon themselves to go out of their way to call someone out as a "Ripoff", they should at least have the decency to call a dog a dog.

The famous "I found these buried in an old mason jar" trick. I've got dozens of the old blue ones, maybe....nahhh, forget it.

I did find an old egg cup in a stone wall once with a few early wheats in it.

Is that one like the saying that my Father-in-law always said? Pick the 'blue one' (booger) and win a Ford.......

Reminds me of this one guy I saw years ago selling lots and lots of raw "estate sale" coins. I think his were "locked in a safe for 20 years" or something.

He had the most incredible images, too. (I seem to remember him having a lot of Buffalo nickels with high-grade detail.) Luckily, the unbelievable story overrode the pretty pictures and I never fell for it.

If you were in the market for whizzed TVs why didn't you say so. I've got tons of them for cheap.
