Civil War Token missing "NOT"

Found this 3g 1863 Civil War token in a bag of wheat backs. In researching tokens, I noticed this one is missing the NOT from NOT ONE CENT. Couldn't find any auction examples in well over 3 minutes of searching. Reason might be they are worthless! So question is were one-sided tokens common, or were they striking this when the lunch whistle blew?

appreciate the prompt reply - i tried a charcoal rubbing over tissue paper and it was inconclusive - just got my fingers dirty - ok - i will keep this in the jar of other "hidden tresasure" coins for the grandkids.

Yup it's been doctored.

 

I've seen these before with the "Not" removed. Yours is pretty well done though.
An interesting piece.
